The manager of our newly-formed Assets Operations team will deliver key projects and programmes, as well as directing Road Performance, Survey, Materials and Audit and Compliance services across Surrey.
As an operational manager with ample experience in Highways, you’ll be able to show success in managing highway engineering and maintenance projects, including delivery of large programmes of work on time and to budget. You’ll be able to motivate teams and individuals to achieve excellence and provide leadership. With excellent understanding of principles of asset planning and management and a good working knowledge of the highway maintenance, you’ll be able to apply these practically in Surrey.
You’ll also have a strong focus on business values and finance, as you will be working with the Assets Planning Group Manager to manage and monitor the budget, and identify and prioritise projects.
