As manager of our newly formed Assets Project and Planning team, you’ll be making travel in Surrey safer and more efficient while promoting environmental sustainability.
You’ll work with the Asset Planning Manager to identify priorities and develop projects and programmes, and manage highway engineering and maintenance activities, including large schemes, providing business expertise and direction.
Leadership skills are important, as is the ability to influence a wide range of decision makers. You’ll have a strong management background, especially in managing financial and human resources, as well as excellent project management skills and recent project working experience. With good working knowledge of the principles of asset management and highway maintenance, you’ll also have a full understanding of local government procedures and relevant legislation.
