Data Base & Web Officer

The London Development Agency (LDA) is the Mayor’s agency responsible for driving London’s sustainable economic growth, and it’s our job to ensure that London remains a global success story – in the next year, the next decade and in the next century. We work to deliver the Mayor’s vision for London to be a sustainable world city with strong, long-term economic growth, social inclusion and active environmental improvement.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the effectiveness of the Design, Development and Environment Directorate through the creation, management and maintenance of information and data.

Working closely with colleagues across the Directorate you will develop content and ensure it effectively promotes the work, objectives and brand of the Directorate. Ensure departmental databases are maintained and kept up to date and liaise with IMT to ensure that they meet organisational standards.

In addition to covering the day-to-day work of managing and maintaining databases and web content, the successful candidate will be required to;

• Support new content contributions throughout the business
• Implement and communicate intranet policies and procedures
• Closely monitor usage and engagement
• Plan and execute the road map of continual improvements to web and database functions
• Work with the Corporate Web Manager to roll out a migration plan to transfer to new websites. (Tridion)

Experience of working with mapping data in GIS, CAD and also HTML, Photoshop are essential. Knowledge of content management systems also desirable
