This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the management of urban space, land and property owned by Bristol City Council. You’ll primarily assist with seasonal activities in the harbour estate, including maintenance, the provision of services and leisure and cultural events. Overall, you will provide professional and practical expertise, coordination and facilitation to users of the estate including event organisers, local residents and businesses and the general public.
You’ll be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is keen to help the Estates Service team during their busiest seasons. Experience of the leisure and events industry is essential, as is experience of managing urban and public spaces. You should also be familiar with current health and safety legislation, risk assessments, project management and budgets. Naturally, you will have excellent communications skills and be able to work effectively with a wide range of people.
