Environment Development & Street Scene – Policy & Design Section

We are looking for an additional member for a small, highly respected team that are leading the production of the LDF. As well as general work to progress the LDF, the person appointed will be expected to lead in relation to a specific area of policy, carry out related research and provide policy input with planning applications. Public consultation and internal and external liaison will of course be a key part of the job.

You will have a varied and challenging workload and the freedom to exercise considerable initiative to develop as a professional and an individual. You should have a relevant degree and experience within a planning policy environment. The job is subject to variable grading according to experience and ability.
