The senior practitioner role is an important link in Bristol mental health services, assisting in the co-ordination of daytime mental health act assessments, supporting Approved Social Workers to ensure the maintenance of this city wide service within the changing legal framework and also providing advice on complex community care issues. There are two vacancies in North and South Sector both working within a supportive team.
At least three years experience as a qualified social worker including practicing as an Approved Social worker are essential.
