3D Visualiser

The Birmingham City Council’s Planning and Regeneration Department requires a competent 3D Visualiser.

Your work will support the planning process, contribute to strategies, briefs, projects and design guidance within the framework of the City Council’s approved policies, programmes and plans for regeneration and enhancement of the City.

The candidate should have Visualisation experience.

You will have a strong portfolio that not only demonstrates photorealistic imagery, but conceptual imagery, evidence of large scale projects and a clear understanding of 2D post production workflow.

In addition you will have experience producing animations/flythroughs. Successful candidates will possess the following key attributes: • Fluent in Autodesk 3DS Max • Excellent Photoshop skills • Indepth knowledge of Vray • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects would be advantageous.

You may wish to note that should you be successful, you will be appointed on a salary point within the range appropriate to the job. Following appointment, salary progression will be managed through a performance framework. For grades 1 and 2 only salary progression will also be determined by length of service until April 2011.
