OFSTED described Enfield social work teams as highly motivated with manageable caseloads, allowing time for workers to get to know children and protect them effectively. Managers were complimented with being highly ambitious and having a clear and enduring determination to provide high quality services for children. Enfield has a highly effective workforce strategy in place and evidence of strong partnership working and strategic leadership. We are looking for enthusiastic and able social workers with at least 3 years post qualifying experience to join our Assessment and Child Protection Teams. We will expect excellent writing skills, clear understanding of risk and good assessment skills. We want to encourage workers to make decisions in consultation with team managers. Our AP’s lead on group supervision and support team managers to work with less experienced staff.
