Salary:£28,600 - £31,100 pa for 25.9 hours; full time equivalent £40,900 - £44,500 pa. With opportunity to progress to an additional 3 SPA points.

Bracknell Forest seeks to provide a high level of support for primary schools in meeting the needs of children and young people. This post offers you the opportunity to contribute to the work of a highly regarded team who enjoy close working relationships with schools.

You will have recent experience of working in the primary phase and an interest in the Early Years Foundation Stage and in secondary education. Some experience of leading, training and supporting staff is essential.

You will be involved in the planning, organising, brokering and delivery of training for different groups of school staff, as well as providing curriculum support, challenge and consultancy. In addition, you will promote activities which contribute to Bracknell Forest’s strategic vision of promoting learning, achievement, high standards and enjoyment for all children and young people. You will also be engaged in facilitating and encouraging transition between each stage of education.

Required for September 2013 (or as soon as possible thereafter) until July 2014 in the first instance.
