Apprentice Entitlement & Assessment Team
Two year apprenticeship
We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Income & Assessment Team, which is part of our Customer Services Section. You will be providing routine administration to the Licensing, Consumer Protection and Environmental Health Service Teams. These teams cover taxi and premises licensing, trading standards, consumer protection and houses in multiple occupation. Your role will involve contacting customers and responding to a range of enquiries using a variety of channels (email, letters etc), in a positive and efficient manner.
Full training will be provided to help you gain confidence and experience in customer relations, learn how to use a variety of computer packages and systems and in general administration. You will need to be studying to gain an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or Customer Service with an approved training provider as part of your apprenticeship.
You will need to be organised, self motivated and already have good basic IT skills and an ability to communicate clearly over the phone and in writing. You will also need to be numerate and prepared to contact customers to request payment of accounts.
