We are looking to recruit 3 Apprentice Parking Officers.
You will be working to achieve a Level 3 Business Administration qualification whilst gaining hands on experience of working within the team in a customer facing role at Hove Town Hall.
During your apprenticeship your core work will be in a customer service role. You will gain valuable experience of working with customers face to face issuing a variety of parking permits and answering a broad range of enquiries on the telephone and by email.
You will gain a good understanding of Penalty Charge Notice processing, including formal written representations and attendance of Traffic Penalty Tribunals in person and on the phone.
You will gain knowledge of the legislation surrounding decriminalised parking and be able to apply it in your letter writing.
There is an attractive training allowance of £13,601 per annum.
The Course is run by Greater Brighton Metropolitan College who is responsible for supporting you with your learning and carrying out assessments. The course has core modules to complete and a number of optional modules. You will also receive support from the Parking Services Team.
