MYT exists to improve the life chances of young people. We support young people 15-24, especially those from vulnerable groups and across abilities, in planning, delivering and evaluating training on a one to one basis or in small groups to support them into Apprenticeships/Traineeships, Employment and Further Education.
The Motivise programme is a programme to offer skills support for the unemployed. It is funded by the European Social Fund and the Skills Funding Agency. The Programme is targeted at young people aged 15-24 who are from a vulnerable group. Motivise aims is to increase the number of young people not in education or training(NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET to enter into traineeships and employment, particular through apprenticeships.
The programme will include advice, guidance and mentoring on an individual basis through formal and informal learning routes.
You will have excellent time management skills, proven experience of working with young people from vulnerable backgrounds and a demonstrable experience of apprenticeships/traineeship provision and working with employers. The role requires extensive travel across both Medway and Kent and therefore you should have a full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
