Role Description:
Working in a frontline AMHP team based in Guildford or Redhill. You will be part of an assessment team undertaking both statutory MHA assessments and Best Interest assessments.

This way of working has been piloted in Surrey for a year and due to its success, has now been made into a permanent team.

This is an exciting opportunity for AMHP’s to work in a small, dedicated assessment team, working alongside integrated Community Teams, Home Treatment Teams and inpatient units.

AMHP’s in this team will not be expected to carry a caseload. A Senior AMHP supports each team.

To join us you should have a professional Social Work and BIA Qualifications and Approved Social Work status. There will be BIA training opportunities for successful candidates who do not currently hold this qualification.

• Post Qualifying experience is essential
• Ability to travel across the County
• An enhanced CRB will be required for this role
