Arborist

Rugby Borough Council require a suitably qualified and experienced climbing Arborist to join our newly formed arborist team delivering the highest quality services.

The work involves pruning, dismantling and planting on mainly council owned land including highways, cemeteries, public open spaces and also some domestic and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual, capable of working in a team and leading others to take on technical and challenging operations in a proactive and positive manner with excellent communication skills, customer focus and a passion for trees.

A sound knowledge of BS3998:2010 (Tree Work recommendations) and safety requirements is mandatory and a desire to excel is required.

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications:

CS 30,31,32,38, 39,41, Emergency first aid, MEWP operator’s licence, Street Works Registered, Driving licence, with at least 3 years post qualification climbing experience.
