Role Description:
There is a vibrant early years sector in Surrey and the Early Years and Childcare plays a key role in supporting providers to deliver inclusive, high quality, sustainable services that improve outcomes for children in line with the Every Child Matters outcomes.

The Area Childcare Manager will focus on leading and implementing strategies and priorities identified by the Children and Young People’s Alliance within a specific geographical area and leading a team of Early Education and Childcare Officers and other childcare specialists.

You will have extensive hands-on experience in an early education or childcare setting and be familiar with current and emerging legislation related to the field. You will have significant line management experience and the ability to priorities the competing demands of this exciting role.

An enhanced CRB disclosure and a Children\’s barred list check will be required for this role.

The ability to travel around the county is essential
