We are currently recruiting for models to post for our portrait (clothed) classes. We welcome applications from people of all ages, genders, races, sizes and body types including those with disabilities. It is our intention to represent everyone through our portrait drawing classes. You will need to be able to hold a pose for up to an hour at a time – a typical session will be two hours with a 15-20 min break halfway through. We need models for both day and evening sessions. Must be over 18.
Main purpose of job
To adopt a pose as required by the artists and tutor, maintain that pose and expression for an extended period of time.
To model in costume as required. Observe all standards of conduct and behaviour to maintain professionalism at all times.
Act in accordance with the equal opportunities policy and undertake the duties as required by corporate and directorate action plans.
Comply with the necessary health and safety and Safeguarding regulations and draw to the attention of the appropriate senior staff any issues. To undertake training as required. To complete a self-declaration form.
Applicants must hold/have the following:
- Ability to maintain a pose and expression for extended periods of time and revisit exact pose and expression following a break
