Nacro are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant with Management Account experience to join them to work as part of a finance team in producing monthly management accounts.
The role is based at Totton College and will operate as part of a finance team based in Birmingham, some travel will be required on occasion to Birmingham and London. The role will work alongside the Commercial Business Partner at the College supporting the management team.
This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week and can flexible on days/hours of work.
The successful candidate will be working with and supporting budget holders in producing budgets and forecasts and driving financial performance across the College.
The successful candidate should have:
- An appropriate CCAB accountancy qualification (min. intermediate stage)
- Previous experience in an Education environment would be helpful but is not essential.
- Good excel skills are essential together with the ability to adapt to new IT systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Salary for this role based on the hours of work, will be £19,810 per annum.
DBS Check required
28 days a year annual leave with the ability to accrue 1 day of additional holiday for every year of service up to 5 years plus bank holidays; pro rata for part-time employees
Season ticket loan
Working 35 hours per week, plus paid lunch break (40 hours in total); pro rata for part-time employees
