Assistant Director – ICT and Digital Services

An opportunity to be Birmingham’s ICT and Digital lead; supporting the delivery of the transformation agenda and contributing significantly to shaping increased access for service users at the same time as developing capability and knowledge within the wider community.

We need exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to set a strong direction and convey a persuasive future vision along with a deep knowledge of the current technology landscape and ICT + D marketplace.

You will be highly articulate and credible at the most senior levels across and outside the Council consistently delivering, inspiring, engaging and evidencing good value business decisions.

An initial primary focus will be around building the new operating model, overseeing the future development with Service Birmingham and accelerating digital services.
