Taking Pride in Improving Lives

This is a really good time to join Wandsworth Adult Social Services. We have introduced self-directed support and have begun the process of more integrated working with the NHS. NHS Commissioners will be co-located with us shortly.

Supporting the Policy and Performance Team, you will work alongside commissioners and operational staff to ensure that this Department continuously improves, delivering the best outcomes and quality of service to our customers.

Your role will be to assist the Policy and Performance Team to offer expert advice and to support change. You must be educated to degree level or equivalent and have demonstrable experience in an Adult Social Care or health setting.

You will have the special quality of being able to see the ‘big picture’ but with skills and drive to work on the detail. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with operational health and social care staff, service users and carers, and who can achieve improvements for our service users/carers by crossing managerial and professional boundaries.

You will have a portfolio of work which will include leading on a range of projects on behalf of the Department.

For an informal discussion please contact Wendy Moreton, Policy & Performance Manager, 020 8871 6271, wmoreton@wandsworth.gov.uk .
