Assistant Team Manager

Reading CLDT is an integrated Reading Borough Council and Berkshire West PCT multi-disciplinary team that assesses the needs of people who have a learning disability and of their family carers, and to arranges packages of care to meet their needs.

With the impending retirement of current post holders, we need an Assistant Team Manager who will be happy to manage both health and social care staff.

You will ideally have strong leadership skills, experience of working with people who have a learning disability, and of working in a multi-agency setting. You must be committed to the principles of “Valuing People Now” and to promoting self directed support.

A recognised Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy professional qualification and registration with relevant professional body are essential.
