About the Role
If you are keen to progress in to a managerial role and further develop your managerial skills, this might be a great opportunity for you. We are currently looking for an Assistant Team Manager or Practitioner with significant experience within Children’s frontline services. Your experience will ideally be in a range of work settings with vulnerable children. In addition to your extensive knowledge and statutory work with children, you will need to have supervisory experience and be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of care planning. You will need time management skills together with experience to enable you to work effectively and efficiently within the Referral, Assessment and Intervention Service. Additional Information
Cases in the Referral, Assessment and Intervention Service will be short-term. ATMs will manage a team of Social Workers who will hold cases from referral through to completion of initial assessment of the initial CP conference before assigning to other teams. You will be part of a management team, with a Team Manager and other ATM overseeing the running of this busy team and will be required to provide supervision, professional guidance, advice and support to social workers. We are committed to developing best practice and are looking for a knowledgeable, innovative and enthusiastic individual to consolidate good practice already in place and strive for the best outcomes for children.
