Job Details
Youth Support Service Assistant Youth Support Worker Duke of Edinburgh Award Team £9,800-£10,760 per annum 18 hours per week The Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme in Enfield is one of the highest performing in London. Over 1,000 young people took part in the Award over the past year with 500 young people gaining an Award. We have expanded the scheme over the past 2 years. We are now operating in 14 schools, 5 youth clubs and are finalising plans to engage with young people in care, young offenders and young people with disabilities. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person who can inspire and support young people to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and achieve their goals. The post holder will need to be able to work on their own initiative and as a team member. It is desirable that applicants hold an expedition leaders award and experience of leading expeditions with groups of young people in a variety of settings including open and mountainous countryside.
