Building Services Manager (Residential)

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and capable Building Services Manager to manage the school site. Duties will include ensuring security, maintenance and daily running of the school buildings and dealing with outside contractors. You will have responsibility for opening and closing the buildings and carrying out routine maintenance and repairs along with any janitorial/caretaking duties.

The capacity to be flexible, including weekend and evening work is essential. Good organisational skills, the ability to both work on own initiative and develop good working relationships with other school users are essential. Informal visits to the school are welcome by contacting the school. This is a fixed term contract for 2 years in the first instance due to the school being in phase 2 of the Building Schools for the Future programme.
