The Building Surveyor is responsible for ensuring effective delivery of External Redecoration, Repairs, Planned Programmes and Specialist Projects across the London Region.
The successful idividual will deliver projects on time and on cost and will achieve all targets along with the achievement of Decent Homes Compliance. Customer complaints and feedback will be dealt with in line with standards and targets and you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will contribute to team and corporate initiatives and will ensure the Delivery of Value for money processes and projects. You will be expected to recover the maximum in insurance related matters and will have a high level resolution and management of disrepair matters. You will also provide reports as requested by the HPM and maintain compliance with internal standards, policies, procedures and statutory requirements
It is essential the successful candidate has a recognised building qualification or considerable and proven related experience in Building Surveying matters and a sound knowledge of legislation on Health and Safety, Construction Design and Management Regulations, Gas Regulations etc. You must have intermediate level PC skills, knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent.
All applicants must hold a current driving license and use of car.
It is desirable your educated to degree level ideally with a professional qualification in a relevant field such as surveying or substantial experience in building maintenance and refurbishment.
