Business Objects Specialist

Surrey County Council is aiming to become an even more efficient and effective Council. To this end, we’re refreshing our whole Information Management & Technology function. We’re embracing new technologies, refining our processes and expanding our partnership network. A huge range of projects are already underway, and there are many more to come.

Your role will be to represent the authority as the expert in the field of Business Objects Management Reporting. Your challenge will be to enable the organisation to deliver best value from its investment in Business Objects (XIR2, BI4) through the delivery of effective Business Intelligence solutions which allow the organisation to make more informed decisions.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of implementing reporting solutions with Business Objects and have skills in the full product set across multiple versions. Proven leadership experience along with knowledge and experience of Data Warehousing concepts is essential, as is the ability to manage relationships with customers, project teams and third party service providers.
