Set in attractive rolling countryside, East Hertfordshire has a great deal to offer people who live and work locally in the area. The small towns and villages stand in an area of great natural beauty, with winding country lanes, nestling in the shallow valleys of the many rivers and streams that criss-cross the district.

Following a recent restructure the Community Safety and Health Services team have two opportunities for people to join our team and help to improve the quality of people’s lives and preserve all that is best in East Herts. With a culture that encourages you to be proactive and a management style that recognises and rewards your ideas and dedication, you’ll find working with us a very rewarding experience.

Our offices are within a short walk of Hertford town centre, set within a mainly rural part of Hertfordshire, but with easy access to London. We offer plenty of opportunities for training and personal development and encourage involvement in corporate issues to develop your career.

This new, varied and interesting role includes system administration, technical support and caseload management.

In this post you will ensure appropriate system maintenance, support and implementation of our bespoke databases, which are used to manage the day to day work of the department. You will also work as part of a team to ensure comprehensive and timely administration of all licence and registration applications which are handled by the department.

Applicants must have extensive experience of Microsoft office applications and experience of working with databases and back office systems.
