CAF coordinators are responsible for the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and Lead Professional Process in North East Lincolnshire.
The role involves overseeing assessment, planning and the monitoring and reviewing of the support given to children with additional needs. The post holder will facilitate the co-ordination and leadership of a multi agency response.
The post holder will need to be dynamic when challenging current working practices that fail to provide a holistic approach consistent with CAF principles. You will have excellent negotiation skills and posses the ability to creatively solve problems when dealing with parents, families and other professionals.
You will thrive under new challenges and have the ability to tackle a large and changeable workload as part of the Information Sharing and Assessment Team.
Subject to line managers approval a secondment to this post would be favourably considered.
This is a fixed term post until 31 March 2011
