About the Role
The working pattern operating at Dormers consists of shifts covering 8.00 – 14.30 or 14.30 – 21.00 over a seven day period. There is the option of Waking Night shifts avaiable especially during the busy annual leave periods of the year.
Dormers Resource Centre is a 39 bedded residential Care Home, consisting of Day Service, Reablement unit for persons with dementia, Respite care.We are within commutable distance from London. Caterham train station is within Zone 6 of London Underground and has a good local bus service and train connections.
We are looking to grow our team so that we can provide the best quality standard of care following the Care Quality Commission regulations. We provide training to include mandatory core subjects around Health and Social Care as well as more specialist training in all elements of dementia care.
We would like candidates to be motivated and work in a professional and person centred manner whilst adhering to Surrey County Council code of conduct and ways of working.
To be responsible for attending to the personal care needs of residents and Day Centre service users with a view to creating a person centred and supportive homely environment, so residents can achieve there maximum independence, engagement and choice. NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent is desirable, how ever we have provisions to provide training in Health and Social Care level 2 and 3 Diploma.
