We have a management opportunity at our flagship extra care service in Surrey Quays. We believe in providing only the highest standard of care at Notting Hill Housing, and this is why we can proudly say that we run the first extra care service in London to achieve "outstanding" at inspection. You'll have a great place to work where you have specialist support around you. At Conrad Court we support residents aged 55 years and over living in the 78 beautiful new build flats. It's an attractive scheme with excellent restaurant facilities for both customers and staff. The scheme is also served by excellent transport links and has a shopping centre and entertainment facilities close by.
Your leadership will make a real difference to the staff who work for us and the residents who live on site. Making sure our residents and our staff are well looked after is absolutely vital to us. With support from the on site Extra Care Manager, we'll look to you to lead your team of care workers. You'll ensure our ethos is put into practice - that customer's needs and wants are put firmly at the centre of everything we do.
We want you to grow in this role. We'll support you by further developing your management skills and specialist knowledge with exceptional training that includes "Medication Management" and "Managing a Resilient Workforce". With the training provided, there will be opportunities for you to specialise in areas like mental health, dementia and end of life care.
No two days will be the same. You'll be supporting vulnerable adults with different levels of care and support needs to have fulfilling lives and make the most of opportunities available to them. With this as our aim it is essential that you already have experience of supervising staff to engage and empower vulnerable customers.

This is a temporary role covering sabbatical leave until 31 August 2018.
