We are currently recruiting two full time Case Management Officers, one permanent and one temporary, for our Approved Premises in Guildford.
As a key member of a small, innovative team, you will provide induction and supervision to hostel residents, deliver group work programmes and be involved in the planning and implementation of other organised resident activities.
Your interaction with residents will assist them as they resolve personal difficulties and learn to re-integrate into the community following, for many, an extended period of time in custody. There is plenty of opportunity for you to learn and develop new skills and full training is provided for all aspects of the job role. A proven track record of working in a residential setting and in the delivery of group work would be an advantage.
You will be educated to A Level or equivalent, or have acquired sufficient experience through work related training. You must be discreet, possess good interpersonal, written and time management skills, and be able to manage potentially difficult situations in a firm but calm manner.
This job role does involve shift work and you will be expected to do evening and early morning shifts, and some weekend work, as part of a rota.
