Home Improvement Agencies support older, disabled and vulnerable people and carry out repairs or adaptations to their homes to promote increased independence, security, quality of life, safety, comfort and warmth. The Agencies work in partnership with a number of local authorities.

There is often a real satisfaction in seeing a project through from inception to completion. But the real reward comes with knowing that the solutions you have devised and implemented will help make someone’s home a better place to live.

Your key role will be to visit people in their own homes and carry out a full assessment that identifies property risks and the social care and welfare needs of the client. You will be required to demonstrate good organisational and administrative skills commensurate with managing a large caseload. You will need to have access to an appropriate form of transport to visit clients.

The post is subject to a Criminal Record Bureau check.
