Casual Museums Attendant

Join our pool of casual attendants who work weekends, bank holidays, cover staff holidays, sickness and other hours as required. Work across three sites; The Royal Pump Room Museum, Mercer Art Gallery, Knaresborough Castle & Museum.

Duties include cleaning, greeting and relaying information to visitors, selling admission tickets and souvenirs as well as being responsible for the security of exhibits on display and the health and safety of visitors and colleagues.

As the post holder will have access to children they will need a Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, the Council will issue the application form and pay the fee
