Telecare Operators (Casual staff)

£19,594 – £21,843 per annum (pro rata)

We have a number of vacancies for casual Telecare operators to work alongside the full time and part time operators in our Leatherhead Telecare centre.

Our 24/7 Telecare Service within the Community Support section of Mole Valley District Council, provides members of the community; principally, but not exclusively, elderly and disabled people, with a variety of solutions to help enable them to remain living safely and independently at home. You will answer and respond promptly and efficiently to all incoming Telecare, emergency and monitoring calls. Various shifts will be available to successful candidates and training hours can be flexible depending on candidates’ availability.

No previous Telecare experience is required as full training will be given, however the call handling systems are computer based and good keyboard skills would be an advantage. For an informal discussion regarding the post please ring Lorraine Tellis, Telecare Services Manager, on 01372 204514
