Northern Lincolnshire Business Connect (NLBC) is a local government shared service arrangement between North East and North Lincolnshire Councils, incorporating commonly referred to back office functions, including Procurement.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with commercial acumen, who will have lead responsibility for specified categories (£3M) and will support the Strategic Category Leads in developing and implementing strategic category plans spanning North and North East Lincolnshire Councils.
You will have proven experience of working in procurement or a similar environment. Ideally you will be qualified to CIPS level 6 or be willing to work towards this.
You will have excellent communication, project management skills and analytical skills, be able to effectively development good working relationships and interact with a range of clients across both councils.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement you will have an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and career within an ambitious and progressive service.
