Catering Assistant (0.86 FTE, Fixed Term)

Newcastle College is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to work within their Commercial Services department. The Service comprises of 10 retail outlets including our eatout brand of coffee bars and restaurants serving freshly made award-winning food and our takeout sandwich bar concept. Servicing over 6,000 customers per day, as well as providing corporate hospitality both internally and externally, we are financially successful and maintain standards of the highest level.

This post is to work on our Mobile Catering Kitchen which is currently sited at Low Walker. The successful applicant should be willing to work independently; it is desirable that the applicants hold a current full UK driving license. Applicants should have a good all round knowledge and understanding of working in the hospitality industry. Attention to detail, a positive attitude and a strong, customer focused approach is essential to the role.

This is a fixed term post until 05 July 2013, working 37 hours per week term time only.
