The Children’s Centre programme is a Government initiative which aims to improve the life chances of children under five through a programme of better health, childcare and educational opportunities. If this is what you seek you will be:
- A positive, enthusiastic and experienced manager with a good track record in children’s services.
- Able to manage a complex cross agency work agenda
- Committed to ensuring that local people play a leading role in the development of services and the management of the programme.
You will need extensive management experience within children’s services e.g. health, education, social work or community work along with significant experience of budget management and service development. You will be employed in the Children’s Centres, Childcare and Play division within the Children and Young people’s Directorate of London Borough of Lewisham.
This post will require an Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau clearance.
