We are looking for outreach workers to ensure that Children’s Centres engage with families at greatest risk and work with specific groups such as fathers, teenage parents, and families from black and minority ethnic groups to enable them to access the services they need. In supporting parents who face a number of difficulties, outreach workers will be well placed to identify those parents who would benefit from structured parenting programmes.

For each of the above Children’s Centres s, we are looking to appoint, enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated outreach workers. In this role you must be able to work effectively with partners across the statutory, private and voluntary sectors, be able to raise awareness of services and support and encourage families to access a wide range of services. You will need excellent communication skills and be dedicated to raising the achievement of children and meeting the needs of our diverse community.

Qualifications:
•Minimum of working towards an NVQ Level 3 Qualification in related field
