Children and families are at the heart of our services in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. In order to deliver the best for our residents we work in partnership with a number of external agencies who make an important contribution to the full range of children’s services on offer. We are looking for a new Children’s Partnership Manager who can develop and manage our work with partners and build on the current Partnership Plan for Children and Young People.
Are you able to develop relationships and see new opportunities for collaborative working? Do you understand the big picture of Children’s Services in the evolving local authority landscape? Can you develop an effective understanding of local needs to help us identify our directorate priorities and plan our work programmes?
You will be responsible for coordinating the annual Priority Action Plans which under pin our strategic plan, monitoring and reporting on progress, and coordinating the joint work to maintain links between partners and prevent duplication and wasted effort. You will also be expected to lead on consultations with service users to help shape and inform our future service priorities and strategic plans. If you think you have the qualities to take on this challenging role within the ever changing public sector, then we would like to hear from you. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally have significant project management experience. The post will require some occasional evening work.
