The purpose of Cafcass is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children involved in family court proceedings. Court procedures can be daunting for adults and children. All Cafcass staff have a part to play in delivering a unique service tailored to our service users that protects children and offers them the best possible outcomes.
Acting as a key member of the National Children’s Rights team, the successful candidate will provide financial and general administration support to the National Children’s Rights team and Young People’s Board. This includes problem solving on a day-to-day basis, maintaining internal records as required, including inputting into databases and systems and other general office duties.
Ideally suited to an administrator who would feel comfortable with following financial processes such as raising purchase orders and processing expense forms. They should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, especially with young people. The successful candidate would also liaise with the Young People’s Board about consultations and meetings etc, finding out if they can attend and making sure they have travel warrants and venue details etc.
