TWO FULL TIME VACANCIES

£17,880 – £20,334, plus three hours contractual overtime per week, paid at time and a half

Hours: 40 hours per week, which includes 3 hours contractual overtime, over five days, on a six weekly rota including Saturdays

Working pattern: Full time, working 5 days out of 6

Location – Based at Pippbrook, Dorking and working throughout the District

We have a responsibility for enforcing both on and off street parking restrictions within the Mole Valley District. As a Civil Enforcement Officer, your duties will involve enforcing the Parking restrictions both “On Street” and “Off Street” (in the Council’s car parks), throughout Mole Valley.

We are looking for a calm and confident individual, with previous experience of dealing with the public and of working on your own initiative, to join our experienced team. You must hold a full manual driving licence, be able to write legibly, communicate with the public and have the ability to deal with confrontational situations.

You will be working in all weathers patrolling all parking restrictions throughout the Mole Valley District, issuing Penalty Charge Notices where contraventions have taken place as well as covering other duties such as checking pay and display equipment, and ensuring that our car parks continue to be well maintained. Full training will be given and a uniform will be provided.
