We are looking for an outstanding new Class Teacher to join our team in September 2012.

Alexandra has 80 primary age pupils aged 5-11 including 10 pupils in a special ASD base.

Our pupils have a range of learning difficulties. Most have moderate learning difficulties. Some also have additional social, emotional and behavioural problems. Some children with ASD,

have more complex social and communication difficulties. There are between 6 and 10 children in each class with excellent TA support.

You will have enjoyed working with primary aged children with special educational needs in a mainstream school setting and will be interested in developing your career.

Applications welcome from teachers who have EYFS, KS1 or KS2 experience. Special school experience is not a requirement.

For teachers on main professional scale, who take on an area of significant school responsibility, a recruitment and retention allowance of £1,200 pa may be payable.
