The Conservation and Collection Care department is looking to recruit a Collections Care Manager in its Collection Care Section.
We are seeking a dynamic and organised manager to coordinate collection care, preventive conservation and collection storage and movement across the organisation. Responsibilities include initiating and coordinating the implementation of strategic plans for sustainable storage solutions, managing the many stores across the organisation, coordinating the work of staff in the Collection Care Section on collection care and preventive conservation work, emergency planning and collections movement. Applicants should demonstrate a current knowledge of collection care and preventive conservation issues, as well as having good logistics and management skills.
