Greet Primary School and Children’s Centre

Post funded through to 31 March 2011. Secondments from current BCC posts considered, with agreement of current employer. 25 hours a week all year with annual leave. The role requires outreach and community based activities working directly with children under 5 years and families, with emphasis being placed on working with males involved in children’s lives.

The role enables good two way communication promoting the involvement and participation of males within the range of centre services. Working as part of the wider community development/ family support teams this post includes health promotion, planning and deigning services, some evening and weekend work to meet the needs of families.
