The Stay Well Healthy Living Network is a new partnership, being co-ordinated by the Newham Food Access Partnership at East Potential. The aim of Stay Well is to improve the health and wellbeing of older people living in the southern half of the London Borough of Newham.
Our community partners are running activities from their Centres, and Stay Well staff will work with these partners as well as co-ordinate a programme of training courses and develop lunch clubs across the borough.
We currently require a Community Food and Nutrition Worker (28 hours per week) to join our team.
The post-holder will have a qualification in food and nutrition and experience of working with older people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. They will plan and deliver a programme of healthy eating taster sessions and courses, undertake outreach work to engage older people in a range of Stay Well Healthy Living Network activities and groups, and monitor & evaluate activities.
The project is funded by the London Borough of Newham.
