Community Safety Support Officer

Temporary contract up to the 28 March 2011 this could be sooner dependant on return of substantive post holder

We require a member of staff within our Community Safety team. The post provides administrative support for the Community Safety Manager, the Community Safety Team, the Hinckley & Bosworth Community Safety Partnership and its various Action Teams and projects.

The successfull candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels. You should be able to work alone as well as part of a team and have experience of dealing with and interviewing members of the public.

You should also have the ability to take minutes, and be conversant with Microsoft Office and have the flexibility needed to conduct some out of hours working.
