We offer support to people who have a learning disability living in their own homes in the local community. Our services are very well established locally and have developed a reputation for providing high quality services in this specialist area of support.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with varied life experiences and a range of skills to join well-established staff teams at a number of properties in Blackpool.

You will work as part of a team providing a variety of support including all aspects of daily living, and also personal care & support when required. You will enable people to access their local community including social, occupational and recreational activities.

Knowledge of service interventions specific to people who may challenge traditional support models would be beneficial, though not essential, as we provide excellent training and support for all our employees. Blackpool Learning Disability Partnership provides all new staff with an extensive Induction and Foundation Programme in line with LDQ and NVQ frameworks. It is essential for applicants to have an understanding of current Government legislation including The Valuing People White Paper.

Experience of working in a care setting would be beneficial although not essential as training will be provided.
