In this role you will play an important part in the service’s continuous improvement process. Your primary duties will be to deal with complaints made by service users about the strategic housing service, as well as issues raised by MP’s and elected councillors, and dealing with Freedom of Information requests. You will also analyse these complaints in order to help managers identify process changes.

You will provide support and guidance to the complaints officers within Housing and Public Protection’s service teams – Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Cemeteries and Crematorium. You’ll also act as the review officer for complaints made to or about Homes in Havering, the Council’s Arms Length Management Organisation.

We are looking for someone who can explain sometimes difficult issues clearly and succinctly either in writing and verbally, and to a range of audiences.
