Effective Property and Asset Management is a key enabler of change and critical to the success of the council achieving its strategic aims. This is reflected through the service’s new structure which is being implemented by our new Director of Property and Asset Management.
To continue the service’s transformation, a new Property Portfolio Management Office has been created to provide the Director, the Council’s management board and Councillors with a ‘single view’ of the Council property and £300 million multiyear capital investment portfolio.
A key part of this team will be the new post for a Concerto and Systems Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Property PMO and Systems this is an exciting opportunity to lead on the deployment and embedding of information systems that will deliver the Directorate’s business outcomes.
In this role, you will also lead and drive forward the Directorate’s future development and operational use of the Council’s asset management system (Concerto), finance and HR system (SAP), agency and interim resourcing tool (Matrix) and information mapping (via GIS).
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in project managing the implementation and embedding of business information systems in large organisations.
You will be an influential and authoritative figure who feels confident working with multiple stakeholders gaining commitment to corporate and Directorate business objectives.
Furthermore, you will have experience line managing and be able to use your expertise to provide support and supervision to develop staff.
