The role

We have an opportunity within our Procurement and Payments Team for a Contracts and Procurement Officer due to an internal promotion. We are looking for a talented individual who thrives in a busy environment to provide a high quality, proactive support service for the Procurement and Payments team. This role is to assist Procurement in the delivery of procurement and contract management support throughout the Council.

The role involves:

  • Responding to internal enquires
  • Providing training and advice
  • Managing various online and internal management and accounting processes
  • Managing the contract register
  • Updating website and templates
