The post offers an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of the Council’s commitment to provide excellent service to its residents.
The successful applicant will be part of the Customer Services Team based at our offices at Dunstable, although there may be opportunities to work occasionally at the Citizone offices at Leighton Buzzard.
This is a demanding role and will require a high level of commitment to manage the variety of enquiries received both in person and by telephone.
To be successful, you must have a self-motivated flexible approach to your work with a strong customer service ethic.
You must also have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You should have good IT skills and a working knowledge of the services offered within the Council.
Training and support will be provided to ensure competency is achieved and you will need to demonstrate the ability to use your initiative to resolve enquiries.
A full driving licence is required as you may be expected to cover at any one of the 3 locations for short periods.
